“After much thought, we have decided not to raise the price of Palworld following the 1.0 release and will keep it at $29.99. We are incredibly proud of how far Palworld has come,” reads the announcement.
As for why, the devs say it all comes down to the huge support they've received from fans since the game entered Early Access in January 2024. Since then, it has surpassed a staggering 40 million players and earned more than 150,000 Overwhelmingly Positive reviews on Steam.
“Thanks to the amazing support of our players, it has become a success beyond our wildest dreams. As a small way of saying thank you, we'll be keeping the price at $29.99. Thank you for your continued support,” the devs continued.
This announcement has been met with an outpouring of praise from fans, with many even going as far as to request ways to give them some extra dollars. "Aw, dang it!! How am I supposed to give you more money?" joked one fan. "This announcement makes me want to buy another copy," replied another.
Meanwhile, others vowed to buy multiple copies to make up for the lower price tag. "I'll be buying copies of the game for my friends who don't have it yet, in that case. Absolutely GOATed move to keep your game so affordable!"
Palworld launches on July 10 alongside a shiny new 1.0 update, which includes new Pals, new areas, and a dangerous new threat. One of those new creatures is none other than Sekhmet, an Egyptian-style cat that already has fans turning their heads (click at your own risk).46:Tfde, <a h
