LEGO’s Pokémon line already proved fans will pay almost anything for a good display piece, from a $650 starter trio to a $200 Pikachu. Three more sets are reportedly locked in for August, and one arrived with a surprise nobody predicted.

It’s set to release August 1, and it comes bundled with a Zinnia minifigure clutching a printed Mega Stone, the first human minifigure the LEGO Pokémon line has produced outside the rumored Poke Ball set. Rounding out the wave are Arcanine (1,190 pieces, roughly $99.99) and Munchlax (757 pieces, $69.99), both also tipped for the same release date.

Zinnia’s inclusion caught fans off guard on Reddit . “I find it so funny that Zinnia, a post-game character from a Hoenn remake, is the first Pokémon human to get a minifigure, as opposed to Red, any Kanto character, any gym leader, etc,” wrote one user. “That’s like if DBZ got a Lego set and Android 21 or Uub are the first characters to get minifigures.”
Reactions to the builds themselves ran a little warmer, with another commenter admitting, “They actually look decent, just not keen on paying 100+”
Zinnia isn’t the only unexpected LEGO tie-in this year, Dragon Ball Z just got its first-ever set too, and LEGO’s adult collector shelf is only getting more crowded, with a 1,544-piece Boba Fett model and an E.T. set with a glowing heart both landing nearby.
