GTA 6 fans roast couple’s bizarre lanzamiento week contract

A couple has gone viral for signing a joke contract that allows them to play GTA 6 uninterrupted during launch week.

Nearly everyone knows what they’ll be doing on November 19, as Grand Theft Auto 6 is finally due to launch. Most major publishers are leaving the entire month clear to avoid it, and businesses are even closing in anticipation of all their staff playing the game .

Even though Rockstar’s long-awaited sequel will no doubt dominate most gamers’ lives when it arrives, one couple has even gone as far as to put it in writing.

A viral image circulating on social media shows a boyfriend and girlfriend holding a signed contract, which states that “from November 19th, 2026 – November 29th, 2026, I can play Grand Theft Auto VI as much as I want.”

It also lists plenty of other conditions, including forbidding walking in front of the TV and ensuring that any requests that take attention away from the game can only be made at the end of a mission.

There is some leeway though, as the fifth and final rule reads: “If you purchased the game for me or contributed at least £40 towards the game, you may eliminate ONE stipulation from Rules 2-4.”

Although this is clearly just a bit of fun, the image has done the rounds on social media, as fans wasted no time poking fun at the contract and the lengths people are going through to play GTA 6.

“I can’t believe this is real AHAH” said one Reddit post.

“lol this is not even a competitive game haha, like u can pause [and] return [to the] game when you want wth,” said another on X.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the hype of GTA 6 do things to fans, as some have been overpaying eBay scalpers despite there being no shortage .
