Hatsune Miku has been transformed into DoodleBob for a bizarre new figure that arms the virtual pop star with SpongeBob’s reality-altering magic pencil.
Collectibles company Youtooz revealed the figure on July 19 as part of an upcoming wave of Hatsune Miku crossover products.
The design replaces Miku’s bright turquoise appearance with the rough, monochromatic look of SpongeBob’s crudely drawn doppelganger. Her recognizable twin-tails have been turned gray, while her face now sports uneven eyes and DoodleBob’s unsettling grin.
Miku is also shown clutching an enormous version of the magic pencil, complete with its oversized eraser.
The DoodleBob Miku figure will become available from the Youtooz website on July 24 at 3 PM ET.
Youtooz says it will only accept orders for four weeks, making the figure a limited-time release. Its price, size, estimated shipping window, and regional availability have not yet been announced.
DoodleBob first appeared in the 2002 SpongeBob SquarePants episode ‘Frankendoodle.’ SpongeBob created the living sketch of himself using a pencil capable of bringing anything drawn with it to life.
The prank quickly backfired when DoodleBob attacked Squidward, stole the pencil, and began using its powers to terrorize Bikini Bottom while shouting largely unintelligible phrases such as “Me hoy minoy.”
This isn’t actually the first time Youtooz has combined the two characters. The company released a nine-inch DoodleBob Miku plush in October 2025 featuring the same gray hair, pencil accessories, and evil smile.
