Star y Wars: los datos clave de la noticia

La noticia gira alrededor de Star y Wars y deja un dato concreto para quienes siguen Entretenimiento.

Star Wars fans will soon be able to get closer than ever to the galaxy far, far away, as Lucasfilm has announced Star Wars: The Experience, the largest official behind-the-scenes exhibition in the franchise’s history.

The immersive exhibition will premiere at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia on February 13, 2027, as part of Star Wars’ 50th anniversary celebrations.

It will feature more than 70 screen-used artifacts, interactive exhibits, and a look at how the iconic franchise was brought to life over the last five decades.

The exhibition will span 18,000 square feet and use RFID technology to give visitors a personalized interactive journey through the Star Wars universe.

Among the highlights are real screen-used props including Darth Maul’s lightsaber, Darth Vader’s costume, original props from Andor, a speeder bike, and fan-favorite characters such as Grogu, R2-D2, and C-3PO. Many of the artifacts will be displayed publicly for the first time.

The exhibition also explores the creative side of Star Wars, covering everything from costume and sound design to fan art, gaming, and the evolution of visual effects, showcasing how the franchise has evolved from practical filmmaking techniques to modern digital production.

Larry Dubinski, President and CEO of The Franklin Institute, said the franchise’s influence stretches well beyond film.

“Star Wars created a cultural landscape that spans decades and delivers massive, undeniable global appeal,” he said.

“Its influence extends far beyond cinema, shaping entertainment, culture, technology, and business, while redefining how stories are created, experienced, and shared across generations.”

More details will be revealed during “The Making of Star Wars: The Experience” panel at San Diego Comic-Con on July 24, where Lucasfilm and exhibition creators will unveil the first gallery renderings and discuss the development of the project.

Tickets for Star Wars: The Experience will go on sale in November ahead of its February 13, 2027 opening. The exhibition will run in Philadelphia until September 6, 2027 before beginning a five-year North American tour.
