At the start of the video, the unidentified man can be heard telling Darling to leave the area while warning that he would call the authorities. “Call the police on me,” Darling replied.

The creator repeatedly denied trespassing and told the man he was “just helping people” and “being positive.”

“Does it irritate you a little bit that I’m being nice to people? That I’m trying to do something funny irritates you?” Darling asked before adding, “I’m going to finish blessing these people here, and then I’ll leave somewhere else. Do nice things somewhere else. Only hate here.”

Despite the confrontation, Darling continued giving away cash to shoppers. At one point, he told a family, “I’ve got to hurry because they called the cops on being nice,” before heading to a nearby gas station .

The video later shows Darling buying a $300 gas gift card, filling a woman’s gas tank, gifting her a television, and handing out coffee and merchandise to others he met throughout the day.

Several people also recognized him from his online videos, with one calling him “a celebrity on YouTube” and thanking him for what he does.

Near the end of the video, Darling explained that he uses money earned from his content to fund the giveaways.

“I do content. I make content. And I’m a stand-up comedian. I tour all over the country,” he said. “I just kind of, when I get the money from the content, I kind of just pour most of it back into the community.”

He added: “Just trying to spread some positivity, man. It’s too dark out here. It’s too negative.”

It isn’t clear whether police ever arrived at the Walmart or made contact with Darling after the confrontation. He continued filming for the rest of the video, handing out cash, paying for gas, and surprising strangers with gifts.

The incident comes after another viral creator had police called during a video back in 2025 after a Home Depot prank escalated and officers responded to the scene.
