Reckless Ben gratis to post Bricks y Minifigs Part 3 tras federal court modifies restraining order

Reckless Ben is gratis to post Bricks y Minifigs Part 3 tras a federal judge entered an order allowing YouTube commentary and investigative journalism.

Reckless Ben appears free to post Part 3 of his Bricks & Minifigs investigation after a federal judge entered a new order allowing commentary and investigative journalism about the lawsuit.

Por qué esta historia importa ahora

The YouTuber, whose real name is Benjamin Schneider, has been covering an escalating dispute involving Bricks & Minifigs, the Mansell family, and former franchise operators connected to the company’s Salem, Oregon store.

The dispute later became a lawsuit filed by BAM Franchising Inc. and other plaintiffs against Schneider, Reckless Ben LLC, Bryan Mansell, and Victor Nguyen. Ben previously said Part 3 of his Bricks & Minifigs series was finished, but that he could not upload it because of a temporary restraining order entered in the case.

On June 9, Ben posted a video titled “My final message,” where he told viewers: “I can’t post it, or I will go to jail.”

The case was later moved from Utah state court to federal court, where both sides again sought a modified version of the order.

On July 6, United States District Judge David Barlow granted the parties’ joint motion for a preliminary injunction, modifying the temporary restraining order previously entered in Utah state court.

The new order still restrains the defendants from making or encouraging threats, doxxing, trespassing, impersonating plaintiffs or franchisees, interfering with businesses, or soliciting employees and franchisees to leak confidential information or participate in staged confrontations.

However, the biggest change is that the order now specifically says nothing prevents the defendants from discussing the plaintiffs, commenting on the litigation, publishing court filings, engaging in investigative journalism, or expressing opinions, criticism, satire, and commentary through lawful means.

The order explicitly includes platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, podcasts, TV, radio, and other social media platforms.

That appears to remove the biggest legal hurdle Ben cited when he told viewers he could not post Part 3 of the Bricks & Minifigs saga. The order does not mention Part 3 by name, but its language allows defendants to engage in investigative journalism and commentary as long as they do not violate the remaining restrictions.

The lawsuit itself is still ongoing. The preliminary injunction will remain in effect until further order of the court, and the order states that nothing in it waives any party’s defenses or right to pursue past, present, or future claims and damages.

In a separate order, the court extended the defendants’ deadline to respond to the complaint through August 3, 2026.47:T12b1, Reckl
