Taco Bell is selling a number of its fan-favorite items for just $1, but you’ll have to act fast as it will only be around for one day - July 28.
Whenever a fast food restaurant has special offers for customers, they typically last a few weeks. These offers usually celebrate menu changes and special promotions, but there are a few places that will do flash deals as well.
These flash deals might last an hour, a day, or even a weekend, so you might expect big queues at your local store. This has been the case on days like National Cheeseburger Day, National Chicken Finger day, and a few other celebrations. Chipotle even ran Buy One, Get One offers for fans wearing football jerseys during the World Cup.
Now, Taco Bell is holding a flash sale day on July 28, with some fan-favorite items being on offer for just $1. Yes, that’s right, just a single dollar.
The offer, which was highlighted by food blogger Snackolator, will last for just 24 hours, with $1 Mexican Pizzas and drinks being available.
“You can get a Mexican Pizza from Taco Bell for just $1 in the app, drive-through, or kiosk - depending on your location that's over 80% off!” he said.
“And if you are a rewards member (which is free) and order through the app, you can add a regular drink (soda, freeze, or refresca) for just $1!”
The offer stems from Taco Bell rewarding customers for continuing to eat with them despite the Cyclospora outbreak that came from their produce supplier, Taylor Farms, and their lettuce.
Some Taco Bell stores quickly moved to remove the lettuce from some of their most popular items, including the Crunchwrap Supreme.
